Comng up this weekend, would be this rather interesting event happening over at Hartamas Shopping Centre. We all love a bargain, and we thrive on bazaar environments when one pops into our neighbourhood. It becomes even more special when the stall-holders are kids – selling their wares to friends, family, and the community. That’s right – the Hartamas Shopping Centre Kids Marketplace is back – bigger and brighter than before.

No one said business was easy, but these enterprising youngsters are giving it their all at the Kids Marketplace – a bazaar with a difference – run by kids, for the rest of us to enjoy. Aimed at promoting communication and entrepreneurship skills amongst youth aged 8-18, the Kids Marketplace, now in its third year, will feature just on 80 entrepreneurial youth peddling an eclectic range of products from art and craft to jokes, cupcakes to computer games, with tonnes of cool stuff in-between. Held this Saturday and Sunday (3 & 4 November 2012) from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Ground Floor Concourse, Hartamas Shopping Centre, there is bound to be some very cool items for us all.

Do check it out with family and friends to support these energetic and bubbly entrepreneurs with their creative business venture – and maybe pick up a few early festive gifts, some great home-made stuff, or even a few bargains along the way. Fun for all ages, and a great way to support these enterprising and very enthusiastic kids.
